This is to inform you that elections for the Committee Members will be held at the upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM) scheduled for 3rd May 2026, following the resignation of two Committee Members.

Nominations are hereby invited in accordance to the statutes of Hindu Association of Malta.

Nomination Deadline: 30^th April 2026 by 4:00 PM
Election Date: Sunday, 3^rd May 2026 during AGM
Submission : Online

 

Eligibility to Contest:

- Be 18 years or older

- Be a Hindu or a believer in Hindu Dharma

- Be a fully subscribed member for at least 6 months before the election date

- Not be under any suspension or disciplinary action

 

Nomination Submission Must Include:

 

Online Nomination Form and a brief Introduction Letter highlighting your past contributions to the Association

Voter Eligibility:

Voting rights are reserved for valid membership and in good standing as of 3rd May 2026 ( Date of Election).

Election Committee Discretion:

In accordance with the Statute of the Association, the Executive Committee:

- Reserves the right to accept or reject any nomination if eligibility requirements are not met or for valid reasons. May postpone, cancel, or modify the election process if circumstances so require. May co-opt a member to the vacant position in the event of insufficient nominations or withdrawal of candidates.

All such decisions will be made in good faith and in line with the statutory obligations of the HAOM.

We encourage all eligible members to actively participate in this election process.
